[icq-devel] creation my own client in c#

hi!
i want to try create my own icq client and i'm newbie in this scene.
could you anyone tell me where i will find some good references of icq
protocol (i think, now is actual version 8, if am i right) or some
tutorials or any important informations (i found some pieces, but
usually not actual or complete informations)? i will probably try it in
c# and if anyone have some bad experience or hints about creating icq
and c#, it could be great help for me.
